Drums Available

Showcasing drums which I’ve birthed and enlivened which are now looking for their new homes. If you see and hear a drum you feel you’d like to adopt, please drop me a line at beansidhedrumcraft@gmail.com! I can post worldwide but it does take a little longer and cost more than within the UK, and for that reason the prices here are inclusive of postage only within the UK.

This beautiful 18″ reindeer hide on ash frame Native American style drum was the first to be birthed in my new home, Cairnorchies Croft, as shown on the blog. She’s now been enlivened by my good friend and colleague, Elen Sentier, on a visit to the Croft and you can hear her in action in Ardnamurchan here. This drum has a lovely resonance, working between fresh and salt water, between land and sea and river and in an area where red deer often graze near the mouth of the beautiful Allt Innis nam Feorag, the Stream of the Island of the Squirrels, on the shores of Loch Sunart. The beater I’m using in the video is my own, sheep rib bone wrapped in sheep wool with a chamois leather cover, and is not for sale, but I can make a beater to order from Ardnamurchan rhododendron wood wrapped in wool and covered in chamois leather, if required, for £15. Please contact to discuss.

Price: £220 (drum only)
