I offer a range of courses in Rune Work, conducted via distance learning (email and Zoom).

Introduction to Runes – The Futharc

This course runs for 6 months and covers 4 of the 24 runes of the Elder Futharc each month, introducing you not just to their individual attributes but to the mythology and history surrounding the runes, the deities associated with them, the energies that underlie them, finding runes in nature, using them correctly and how to craft them. You will craft your own set of runes during the course using materials you find, learning how to empower runes for use and the skills to carry out simple divinations. At the beginning of each month you’ll receive a lesson by email, and at the end of the month I ask that you send me an email with a report of your experience with the work and any questions. I will provide individual feedback on this for you and answer any questions you raise.

Price – £120 payable as a one-off or as 6 monthly instalments of £20

Introduction to Runes – The Futhork

This course runs for 9 months and covers 4 of the 33 runes of the Anglo-Saxon rune row, the Futhork, each month, with the final rune in the ninth month. You will learn their names, powers, energies, how to use them, the history and mythology of the runes, their associated deities, how to fund runes in nature, how to use them and craft them. During the course you will craft your own set of runes using materials you find, learning how to empower them and the skills to carry out simple divinations. At the beginning of each month you’ll receive a lesson by email, and at the end of the month I ask that you send me an email with a report of your experience with the work and any questions. I will provide individual feedback on this for you and answer any questions you raise.

Price – £180, payable as a one-off or in 9 monthly instalments of £20

Because these two courses have substantial overlap, I offer an equally substantial discount for anyone who wishes to study one, having already completed the other!

Second Introduction to Runes course – £90 payable as a one-off or as 3 monthly payments of £30

 

Advanced Runework

If you complete one (or both) of the Introduction to Runes courses, you will be eligible to enrol in my Advanced Runework Course, in which you will learn the principles and practice of devising, crafting and using bind runes, using runes for healing, creating rituals for detailed divination, and how to work with the Three Norns, goddesses who rule the Wyrd and govern fate. You will study several different runic systems to enable you to find the one that calls most strongly to you. It is an experiential course which will require you to craft your own rune staff, rune wand and various bind runes, and also to undertake guided meditations and walking meditations as well as practicing divinations and submitting written work every month for feedback and discussion, with the opportunity for regular Zoom meetings. The course runs for Thirteen Moons.

Price – £390 payable as a one-off or as 13 instalments of £30.
